Solar shield instructions

This part of the weather station manual is dedicated to the production of the solar shield which is required to correctly measure temperature and humidity parameters. Follow these steps:

1. Prepare six plant saucers (better if they are already white otherwise you should paint them) and a small junction box. Three threaded rod with 3 mm diameter, bolts and spacers accordingly.

2. Take one plant saucers and make a central hole to easily accomodate the junction box’s size.

3. Take one plant saucer and make a centered hole of the junction box’s size. Then, take other three plant saucers and do a centered hole of about 2 cm.

4. Take other three plant saucers and do a hole in the center of about 2 cm.

5. Make other three lateral small holes in all the disks which will be used to fit the threaded rod with the 3 mm diameter. (mark the corresponding holes on the different plates to let them correcty fit)
